Introduction
Integrated Accounting Solutions, LLC (“Integrated Accounting Solutions,” “the Firm,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and safeguard information in connection with the website located at integratedsolutions.cpa (the “Website”).
Integrated Accounting Solutions, LLC is a certified public accounting and advisory firm organized in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. By accessing or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Website.
Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Website from visitors, prospective clients, and other members of the public.
This Privacy Policy does not govern the confidential information that clients and their representatives provide to us in the course of a professional engagement. Information collected to prepare tax returns or to perform bookkeeping, controller, or advisory services is protected under separate and stricter standards, including our professional obligations as certified public accountants, the terms of your engagement letter, and applicable federal and state law. The section below titled “Confidentiality of Client Information” describes those protections.
Information We Collect
We limit our collection of personal information to what is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Through the Website, we may collect the following:
- Information you provide to us. When you complete a contact form, request information, subscribe to our newsletter, register for an event, or otherwise communicate with us through the Website, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, company name, and the contents of your message or inquiry.
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Website, we and our service providers may automatically collect technical information, including your IP address, device and browser type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, links clicked, and the dates and times of your visits. We collect this information using cookies and similar technologies, as described below.
We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or other sensitive personal information through the Website. Please do not submit such information through Website forms or by unencrypted email. If you are an existing client, use the secure client portal we provide for the exchange of sensitive documents.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries and provide the information or services you request
- To communicate with you about our services, including educational newsletters and updates you have asked to receive
- To operate, maintain, and improve the Website and its content
- To understand how visitors use the Website through analytics
- To protect the security and integrity of the Website and to detect, prevent, and respond to fraud or unauthorized activity
- To comply with our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
We do not use the information we collect through the Website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.
Cookies and Tracking Technologies
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Website, remember your preferences, understand how the Website is used, and improve its performance.
We use the following general categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies, which are necessary for the Website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems.
- Analytics cookies, which help us understand how visitors interact with the Website so that we can improve it.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and through any cookie consent tool we make available on the Website. Most browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies. If you disable certain cookies, some features of the Website may not function properly.
Analytics and Security Services
- Google Analytics. The Website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, to help us understand how visitors use the Website. Google Analytics collects information such as your IP address and details about your visit. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, available at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout/, or by using the cookie controls on the Website.
- reCAPTCHA. The Website uses reCAPTCHA, a service provided by Google that helps distinguish human users from automated programs and protects the Website from spam and abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis. Your use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
How We Share Information
We share personal information only in the limited circumstances described below. We do not share your information with advertising networks, and we do not permit third parties to collect personal information through the Website for their own targeted advertising purposes.
- Service providers. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf, such as website hosting, email and newsletter delivery, customer relationship management, analytics, and security. These providers are permitted to use personal information only as necessary to perform services for us and are contractually required to protect it.
- Legal and protective disclosures. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to enforce our agreements; to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Firm, our clients, or others; or in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, or sale of firm assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
We do not disclose confidential client information to third parties except as permitted under our professional obligations, your engagement agreement, and applicable law. See “Confidentiality of Client Information” below.
We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months. We do not exchange your personal information for money or other valuable consideration, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Marketing Communications
If you have subscribed to our newsletter or asked to receive communications from us, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any of our emails or by contacting us using the information at the end of this Policy. We will honor your request promptly. We may still send you communications relating to services we are providing to you or other non-promotional messages.
Confidentiality of Client Information
As certified public accountants, we hold client information to a standard of confidentiality that goes beyond the protections described elsewhere in this Policy.
- Professional standards. We comply with the Confidential Client Information Rule of the AICPA Code of Professional Conduct and the rules of the Pennsylvania State Board of Accountancy. We do not disclose confidential client information without the client’s consent, except as permitted or required by professional standards and law.
- Tax return information. Consistent with Section 7216 of the Internal Revenue Code and its implementing regulations, we do not use or disclose the information you provide in connection with the preparation of a tax return for any purpose other than that engagement, unless you provide written consent or the law otherwise permits or requires the disclosure.
- Safeguarding financial information. We maintain a written information security program designed to protect client information, consistent with the requirements applicable to financial institutions under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Federal Trade Commission Safeguards Rule.
Confidential client information exchanged during an engagement is governed by these standards, your engagement letter, and applicable law, rather than by the Website provisions of this Policy.
How We Protect Information
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include:
- Limiting the collection of personal information to what is reasonably necessary
- Using encryption when transmitting personal information across public networks
- Restricting access to personal information to personnel who need it to perform their duties
- Requiring personnel to sign confidentiality agreements and providing security awareness training
- Performing background screening of personnel with access to personal information
- Maintaining current security software and monitoring for intrusions
- Conducting periodic risk assessments and vendor due diligence
- Securely deleting or destroying personal information when it is no longer needed
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you believe your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately using the information at the end of this Policy.
Data Retention
We retain personal information collected through the Website for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, to maintain our business records, and to comply with our legal, regulatory, and professional obligations, after which we securely delete or de-identify it.
Client engagement records are retained in accordance with the Firm’s records retention policy and the retention periods required by applicable professional standards, tax authorities, and law. Those periods are generally longer than the retention period for Website information and are determined by the nature of the engagement rather than by this Policy.
Your Privacy Choices and Rights
We extend the following choices to all Website users as a matter of Firm policy, regardless of where you live:
- Access. You may request confirmation of whether we process personal information about you and request a copy of that information.
- Correction. You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Deletion. You may request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to the exceptions described below.
- Opt out of marketing. You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time.
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable state privacy law. We will honor rights afforded to you under the law that applies to you.
Exceptions. We may decline a request where the law permits, including where retaining the information is necessary to complete a transaction or service you requested, to comply with a legal or professional obligation such as tax and accounting records retention, to detect or protect against security incidents or illegal activity, or to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
How to exercise your rights. To submit a request, contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below. So that we may respond appropriately and protect your information, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before acting on your request. We may ask you to provide your name and email address and to confirm information already in our records. We will respond within the time required by applicable law, generally within 45 days, and will notify you if we need additional time. You may make a request through an authorized agent, in which case we may require verification of the agent’s authority.
You will not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting that signals to websites that you do not wish to be tracked. There is no common industry standard for how to respond to these signals, and the Website does not currently respond to them. You can control tracking through your browser and device settings and through the cookie controls described in this Policy.

The Website may contain links to websites operated by others. We provide these links for your convenience. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit.
