Tax and Accounting for Individuals and Families

A return that was simple ten years ago has a way of growing. A brokerage account, a rental property, a stake in a business, a move across state lines, and suddenly the once-a-year filing carries weight it did not before.

Integrated Accounting Solutions works with individuals and families at exactly that point, where the financial picture has outgrown a hands-off return. What they want is one CPA-led team to keep the whole thing coordinated, accurate, and clearly explained — and that is what we provide, from our base in Havertown, PA and for clients nationwide.

The individuals and families we work with.

Most of the households we serve recognize themselves in one of these. The thread that connects them is a financial picture that has outgrown a once-a-year, hands-off return.

1

Households with growing complexity

As income sources multiply across investments, rental property, and pass-through interests, the return gets harder to handle well. We bring it back under one coordinated view.

2

Life in transition

Marriage, a new dependent, a home, or retirement changes the tax picture. We plan around these moments rather than reacting to them at filing season.

3

Owners and their families

For business owners, the personal and business returns are one connected decision. We handle both so owner compensation, distributions, and filings stay aligned.

What we handle for individuals and families.

Returns and income

  • Federal and state individual income tax returns
  • Investment, rental, and pass-through income
  • Estimated payment and withholding planning

Life changes and coordination

  • Life changes including marriage, dependents, and retirement
  • Multi-state considerations where they apply
  • Owner returns coordinated with the business

What you can expect, every year.

Clear guidance

We tell you what matters, what is optional, and what action is needed, without the jargon. You will always know where you stand and what is coming next.

Accurate and on time

Your return is prepared and reviewed by a CPA-led team and filed on schedule. Accuracy and timeliness are the baseline of the relationship.

A team that stays

Our practice is built on long-term relationships. The people who know your situation this year are the people who handle it next year.

Questions individuals and families ask.

Scope note: This page describes how IAS works with individuals and families. The services included in your engagement, along with responsibilities, timelines, and fees, are defined by your proposal and engagement letter.

Do you only work with businesses, or with individuals too?

We work with both. Many of our individual clients are business owners whose personal and business returns we prepare together, and many are families whose financial lives have simply grown more involved over time.

Can you prepare returns if I have income in more than one state?

Yes. Our multi-state team prepares returns for individuals and families who live, work, own property, or earn income across more than one state.

Do I need to be in the Havertown area to become a client?

No. We are based in Havertown, PA and work with individuals and families across the country through a secure portal and remote meetings.

What happens when my situation changes during the year?

Reach out when something changes, such as a marriage, a new dependent, a home purchase, or a move. We would rather plan around a change in advance than address it for the first time at filing season.

The questions worth asking rarely fit inside a single return.
